What is Japanada?
Japanada is an "archipelago" micronation in Midwest America. Despite the country being surrounded completely by dry land, many of its residents consider it to be an archipelago because of its scattered territories in the United States and in locations including Japan and Norway. It also exists as an imaginary island shaped like Pam, Japanada's mascot. The micronation has a population of around a hundred people as of 2025.
Although Japanada began as a humble Earth-country, it has since expanded extraterrestrially with the help of technology and research company Bunkie R&D. The majority of its territory now exists on a separate plane of existence, the location of which is unknown. The land on this plane is divided into distinct prefectures, each of which is maintained by a different member of the Fruit Cabinet. Japanada's capital and largest city is Tokytario.
